Extraction and Packaging Operator

Location: Denver
Contract type: 40h per week full-time temporary
Dates of contract: May 1st 2024 to October 31st 2024
Hourly rate: fix of 19,5$ + bonus incentive up to 21$ an hour

Position Overview
Are you interested in bees and would you like to work producing local urban honey?
Alvéole has a sweet deal for you! We’re presently looking to fill positions on our honey extraction and production team in Denver for the 2024 beekeeping season.
As an Extraction and Packaging Operator, you will be in charge of:
- Uncapping and the extraction of honey frames
- Operating extraction, bottling, and labeling equipment
- Cleaning, stacking, and organizing honey supers
- Cleaning production and extraction areas
- Boxing, palletizing and wrapping finished products for shipping
- Organizing the warehouse space
- Monitoring the inventory levels
- Ensuring quality and consistency of products
- Ensuring food safety compliance
- Performing other related warehouse duties as assigned
What we are looking for
- Experience in Product Assembly
- Experience in Food Processing
- Experience in Warehousing
- Experience in Agriculture
Working conditions
- Comfortable with the reality of warehouse beekeeping hazards (stings, heavy lifting, hot indoor temperatures, etc.)
- Heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs)

Compensation
