About Alvéole

Alvéole leverages bees on over 2,200 commercial buildings to help companies increase tenant satisfaction and engagement, earn green building credits, and monitor real estate’s impact on nature and biodiversity. At Alvéole, we believe in doing work that makes an impact - no matter what position you hold in the organization. We are a passionate workforce of 115+ individuals, working across 50+ cities in Canada, the United-States and Europe. We believe that commercial real estate is uniquely positioned to make a positive impact on biodiversity and it’s our mission to unlock that potential.

About the role

Alvéole’s Product team is a “startup within a startup”. Led by the CEO, the team is building an innovative nature & biodiversity data platform for commercial real estate (see details here). Our platform empowers our customers to analyze, report, and mitigate their impact on nature across their portfolios.

We are seeking a Product Manager with a proven ability to build and launch B2B products from scratch. Reporting to the CEO, you will become an expert in our market, ensuring every decision is driven by a deep understanding of its needs. You'll balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, working cross-functionally to ensure we deliver outsized value to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to shape, manage and execute the roadmap on time and up to par.
  • Train and educate teams on new releases.
  • Drive ongoing customer discovery efforts through interviews, market research, and data analysis to uncover insights and validate product direction.
  • Track success, test your hypotheses and iterate accordingly. Ensure we are continuously improving the product.
  • Partner with the CEO and Engineering to establish and execute a data strategy (partnerships, proprietary, etc) to enhance the platform's capabilities.
  • Work with the Product Owner to maintain a focused, high-impact product backlog that balances short-term wins with long-term strategic goals.
  • Identify new directions and offerings building on our core platform.
  • Partner with Revenue to drive the go-to-market strategy for the platform, and ensure feature launches resonate with the market and solve critical customer challenges.
  • Run customer pitches, representing the product vision and value while gathering feedback to improve offerings.
  • Act as in-house expert on the impact of emerging nature & biodiversity frameworks on CRE, using these insights to guide product direction.
  • Oversee all design work, ensuring the product is intuitive and user-friendly.

Experiences and skills required

  • Experience in developing and launching successful B2B SaaS products, preferably from 0 to 1.
  • Experience in proptech, climate software, or data-centric products is a strong asset.
  • Generalist and thinker, able to solve ambiguous problems without a clear answer.
  • Proven ability to engage and empathize with customers, extract insights, and use them to shape product decisions.
  • Analytical mindset and strong commercial instinct, with the ability to toggle between data dives, financial models, and qualitative analysis.
  • Experience using Jira or similar tools for product backlog management and sprint planning.
  • Experience in design or working closely with designers to ensure alignment between product requirements and user experience standards.
  • Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a dynamic early-stage startup environment with evolving priorities. We look for those with a strong ownership mentality.
  • Strong communicator and influencer, able to collaborate well with company leadership and other teams.
  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Benefits

  • An attractive salary
  • Generous and flexible PTO policy (minimum of 4 weeks per year)
  • Comprehensive health insurance benefits from Day 1
  • Work for a company that is at the forefront of the ESG movement, driving change and positive impact in urban landscapes
  • Flexible working options
  • An office equipped with a steady supply of snacks and espresso, regular 5a7s and community events

Alvéole’s impact-driven Culture is centered around its values:

→ We do meaningful work
→ We grow together
→ We share our passion
→ We push boundaries
→ We choose optimism

We don’t believe in values for the sake of having them. Alvéole is full of diverse experiences and perspectives, but by necessity our values are what we all have in common - they are what bind us together as an organization, and they are a non-negotiable commitment to doing things differently. Our values illustrate the ‘how’ behind our approach to work, and we use them as a compass to keep ourselves on the path that will lead us to success the ‘right’ way. Values hold us accountable to the culture we’ve set out to build for our team members, and the impact we’ve committed to making with our product.

Our commitment to Inclusion & Belonging

At Alvéole, we embrace diversity as a core part of our identity and success. We foster an inclusive environment where individuals from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives feel valued. Our team’s unique talents create a vibrant, innovative workplace where everyone can be their authentic selves. We actively seek to attract and retain a diverse workforce, celebrating differences that strengthen us. We encourage applicants needing accommodations to contact talent@alveole.buzz
